Camp Wayne for Girls is the sister half of a true ‘brother-sister’ camp. Our brother camp, Camp Wayne for Boys is located right across the lake from us. With the exception of drama rehearsals, we do not mix our afternoon programming as each camp has its own facilities. However, we do plan many exciting evening social events between the two camps throughout the summer. All activities are organized, scheduled events that are age appropriate. Our co-ed evening activities include discos, talent shows, pool parties, crazy games, movies and campfires among others. There are two co-ed special events throughout the summer, Carnival and Co-Ed Day. Many of our trips for our older campers are also co-ed. On average older campers will have more opportunities to see the boys than do younger campers. For those campers who have a sibling at the other camp we have 3 to 5 ‘brother-sister’ visiting events where siblings have quiet time to spend with each other. We also transport brothers and sisters to opposite sides for Birthday Parties and for extra special visits when necessary. In addition Camp Wayne for Girls and Boys share the same Visiting Day as well as transportation to and from camp.
