Our unique MADD Workshop is a true art workshop. Back in the 60's we took the M from Music... the A from Art... and the D's from Dance and Drama...and created the MADD Workshop, our talent-filled facility that encourages campers to express themselves in Fine Arts. Over time, Dance & Drama evolved into their own programs. Week-long sessions are offered in painting, drawing, ceramics by hand and wheel, silkscreen, batik, sculpture, calligraphy, print making, photography, jewelry and guitar. Classes are limited to six campers or less and campers always have the opportunity to finish projects or start new ones during our choice periods of Selective and Hobby Hour. Occasionally, professional artists are brought in to hold special work shops throughout the summer. It’s a place where campers use their hands to get ‘dirty’ and creative while working in real mediums and exploring talents they never knew where even there.
