Why wait to be a camper at Camp Wayne for Girls? Rookie Day 2010 or Rookie Morning 2010 are wonderful programs designed to introduce you and your daughter to Camp Wayne for Girls. They are geared for girls entering the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade in the fall and are a unique opportunity to experience some of what Camp Wayne for Girls has to offer. Rookies will be actively involved in great activities such as gymnastics, ropes, arts, waterfront and more. And of course what would a day at camp be like without a campfire and s'mores?
Our Rookie Day begins at 10am on Saturday, July 3rd and ends at 4:45 pm when parents pick up their child in our canteen, enjoy a light bite, and have a chance to mingle with other families and our Directors. Rookie Morning begins at 10am on Saturday, July 10 and ends at 1:30. For both Rookie Programs, camp tours for parents can be arranged and will begin at 10:30am. Parents are also invited to a Camp Wayne lunch at the end of their tour.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to be a “real” sleep away camper for the day! There is no substitute for seeing and experiencing camp first hand. What a great chance to meet present and future Camp Wayners and to see what Camp Wayne for Girls is really all about. There is no cost for either program and space is limited to the first 20 "campers" for each program. For more information, please call Camp Wayne for Girls at 215.944.3069. After June 1st, please call us at 570-798-2591.
