From New York City: NY State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 16 “Harriman.” Follow Route 17 West (also known as I-86) toward Binghamton, approx. 95 miles to Exit 87 (2nd Hancock exit). Turn left at stop sign and first left at Route 97. Go 1/10 mile, make first right after passing gas station and follow road around to a stop sign. Turn right onto PA Route 191, over railroad tracks and bridge into Pennsylvania. Stay left at “Y” for ¾ mile, then right onto Route 370. Go 6.3 miles, (pass Preston Country Store) then turn left on Route 247 South. Camp Wayne for Girls is the first left (½ mile from Route 370.) Please follow signs to Parking Lot and Girls Campus. From Westchester: Take the Tappan Zee Bridge to the NY State Thruway north, and then follow the directions from New York City above. From Connecticut: Take I-84 West through Newburgh, NY toward Middletown. Then take Route 17 West (also known as I-86). Follow directions from Route 17 above. Scranton, PA: Take Route 6 East (towards Carbondale) approximately 18 miles to Waymart. Make left at traffic light onto Route 296. Go 5.9 miles. Make right onto route 247. Follow Route 247 for 17 miles. You will see Camp Wayne for Boys on your right. Follow road around lake. Make right turn onto Geer Road. Follow signs to Parking Lot and Girls Campus. From Baltimore: Take I-83 North toward Harrisburg, to I-81 North to Route 6 East. Follow directions from Scranton above. From Philadelphia: Take the NE Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike past Wilkes Barre to Exit 115 (Pittston). Take I-81 North to Route 6 East. Follow directions from Scranton above. From Central New Jersey: Take I-80 West (a total of 61 miles from Route 287 in NJ) into Pennsylvania to I-380 North or West. Follow I-380 until it merges with I-84W/I-81. Follow signs to Route 6 East. Go 18 miles. Make left onto Route 296 in Waymart. Go 5.9 miles. Make right onto Route 247. Follow Route 247 for 17 miles. You will see Camp Wayne for Boys on your right. Follow road around lake. Make right turn onto Geer Road. Follow signs to Parking Lot and Girls Campus. From Binghamton, NY: Take Rte 17 East to Exit 87 (Hancock). Make a left at stop sign.
