Choosing a camp for your daughter can be an important decision. But it’s not enough just to find a great camp. The trick is to find a great camp that is the right fit for your family. Websites, dvd’s and brochures tell only part of the story. To find out if a camp is really the right match for your child there is simply no substitute for seeing the camp up close and in person. It is essential that you meet the owners and directors of a camp. After all, these are the people ultimately responsible for the philosophy of the camp, not to mention the well-being of your daughter. We also beleive it’s just as important to meet the counselor’s at a camp. What type of people are they? What type of interview process did they go through to determine if they were qualified to live with and care for children for seven weeks?

We invite you to come see for yourself what makes Camp Wayne for Girls so amazing. But don’t take our word for it. When you visit us, we want you to ‘touch and feel’ camp. We invite you to talk to campers and counselors and get their perspective on camp. We want you to ask tough questions. Facilities and programming are an integral part of any camp. But it is the people at camp – campers, staff and directors – that really make a camp what it is.

If you would like to schedule a tour to see Camp Wayne for Girls please call us at 215.944.3069 (or 570.798.2591 after June 1st). Tours are available every day except for visiting day. You can schedule a tour for the morning or afternoon. We feel morning tours are best because it allows for families to join us for lunch (if you wish) which is a great way to see the camp community together at one time. We hope to see you this summer!
